Ha!!

Long day at office - Bad BAD mid-term (enough to really wonder how I can possible have an IQ over 10) oh, and after mid-term before start of lecture, i fell down cement stairs and did something very painful to my ankle.  Which seems to be growing in size every hour that passes…

Spent Saterday downtown…. I did get a few semi-good shots of the needle, center, and fountain.  But who cares about that????  Sexy BF pictures are way more interesting….

Update a blog at the office. Especially when you have a host of material to review, meetings to attended, and reports to manage. Awe, but here I am. Listening to some random VCAST music, from Prince to M.I.A. on my new Glyde. (Which btw, I finally saw a commercial for.)

There seems to be some kind of something-or-other running in the header of the blog. I’ve contacted Lunarpages to ask for help, but got a horribly rude response back. Which is making me ponder switching hosting services after 10+ years. (Odd, but really does only take 1 bad experience to loose a customer, eh?) M is taking a look at my files in WP. We disagree, I think it’s in WP he thinks it is on the server. Frankly he might be right but it doesn’t make logical sense via Lunar’s response.  Plus, I truly do not want to rebuild klickatat yet again.  Maybe I can bribe him into teaching me MT.  Even though MT has been personal foe for so many years. It’s like giving into the enemy.

***Side note: The sound quality on the Glyde is great. I can feel the base in my heart… yummy****

SIFF is moving along this year. So far not one movie has stood out, as in previous years, which said “this is it, this is the one.” Last year was “Once.” This year?… second week in, and nothing. I’ll put the entire list down soon. Thus far chucked out over 200 bucks for “ehhh.”  Let’s hope next weekend saves the festival. Brick Lane, Garage, Late Bloomers, A Secret and the Great Buck Howard.

Hu told me that there is really no money in the industry.  Regardless of what level you are in consider it a lost cause. This is why VC’s consider it a tax write-off. (I should be a VC.)

Speaking of the rich, R sent me a message that his open house will probably be in August. I’m thinking of flying down to TX to visit old friends. Been over a year since I’ve been to Dallas and good 3 years since Houston. I miss it. Plus I want to go house shopping. And if I stop wasting money on bad SIFF films might actually have some $ to do so.

To wrap up, was very sick over weekend. Saturday night had a great beer and pizza at Bills, but around 4am woke up in pain I haven’t experienced for quite some time. Could barely breath and since I started eating better in February I hadn’t bothered to stock back up on Zantac. M was awake immediately and following me around the house. I begged him to go back to bed, (nothing more horrifying then being sick in front someone.) He finally went back to bed after I raised my voice asking to be alone. Of course I felt incredibly guilty. After chewing on 72 tums I wandered back to bed. There he was sitting on the edge of the bed waiting for me. *soft sigh* So I gave up, let him rub my back, and stay by my side till early morning hours. I eventually snuck into the living room to lay on couch and watch some cartoons. Somehow I dozzed off and when I woke up again there he was again watching over me.  He kissed my forehead and comforted me.  Eventually one of us dragged the other back to bed and he pulled me deep into his arms where I slept for the rest of the day, safe and warm.
